RCSubGuy Under the Knife and Out of the Shop for July

For those of you who don't hang out with us at the DiveTribe or follow my YouTube channel, I just wanted to let you know/remind you that I go for surgery in Texas on Sunday. Testing for a few days, then surgery on the 2nd. Recovery is going to be a b!t@h, and I'll be in Texas for at least 3 weeks, then recovering at home for a bit.

Jason is still at the shop to fulfill orders for "standard" parts, but anything that requires fabrication will have to wait until I get back. Don't expect any videos or build updates until around mid-August.

    Thanks, all!

Prayers and best wishes for a complete and total kiss A$$ on the cancer. Heal well and quickly.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Made it to Texas. Had bloodwork this morning. More tests as the week goes on...

The good news is that I should have time this week to catch up on website maintenance and upgrades, long overdue!

That's gonna cut into your nurse-chasing time, pal.

Hi everyone, Bob’s wife Renee here with a quick update. Bob went into surgery around 7am and was in recovery around 5pm. A grueling surgery where the fantastic docs at MD Anderson cut a big piece out of his abdominal wall. He’ll have a long painful recovery but the good news is that they were able to remove all the cancer cells. I’m allowed to visit him, a recent and fortuitously timed change in policy as of 3 days ago. So I can keep an eye on the nurse chasing ;).
I’ll post another update later, but much thanks for all the wonderful messages, I know he appreciates them immensely.
