Well it appears that the DVDs stall at a different place each time.
My brother has some special software for buggy programs.
Trying to copy these and its freaking SLOW.
It is not scratches for if it was, it would stall at the same place each time.
Meanwhile can I have a simple photo of the connecting rods at the front dive plane control arm and another at the attachement to the rear dive planes. Trying to determine the actual shape of the entire connecting rod, front to back as well. In that same fashion, one of the Fair Weather Sailplane control arm connection configuration would also help alot.
With that I can finish this build.
Thanks.
Dean
I recommend you buy a replacement set of DVD's from Caswell as I recommended, Dean.

Come on David, help the man!
I'm starting to feel Frustrated TOO! Devilish
I would like to help but I've not touched a Seaview yet.
I just had a terrible thought:
Maybe no one has a 'Good' way of doing it, so therefore they only have pictures of Bad ways of doing it? :confused:Last edited by toppack; 03-22-2009, 09:08 AM.Rick L.

That helps the old minds eye.
Your a good guy Steve.
Very kind of you.
Cheers
I'll drink to THAT!
Any guide channels along the inner hull?
Thanks everyone
Dean
PS Mr Merrimans build is a perfect example of his experience. The CG is perfect. Its quite a work of art and science.
I cannot say enough about this engineering feat of excellence. Its more then a boyhood dream come true. Its a gift from the God above as I should be in Heaven and not walking or breathing on my own. I did not have all the money for the entire system and thanks to STRINGFLY my birthday is a very happy one. Thanks Mr Merriman, I am 47 and the owner of a working Seaview. In reality its priceless and I know you do not get paid enough. Or at least your worth more then you can charge. I will forever be enjoying my summers, spring and fall, with my Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.Last edited by junglelord; 03-23-2009, 09:57 PM.Comment

Happy BI'll drink to THAT!day
Looking through disc 1 there are many shots of the inside of the Seaview. Dave goes over the push rods. From what I can see there are plastic tabs about every 3 frames that keep the bow plane push rods in place.
