The LEGO Generation may find this interesting. I refitted an Arkmodet WTC and wanted to test it before committing it to a Boat. It's a skin on frame design. Apart from the center carriage section, it's a clamp and snap on assembly. It's modular design allows it to accept various WTCs. I've made adapters to fit 70 & 80 mm R&R WTCs. Bow and Stern sections can be swapped out as required.

Quite ugly, put somewhat cool! For sure exactly whats necessary for quick n dirty testing!
A concept i usually had in mind with my SSK, but those attemps usually fail on my side as soon as i begin to make some minor detail "better"....more than once turned into a complete multi-year makeover!
well done!

Thank you for your comments. I was inspired by the Jam Jar RC sub as seen on Essential RC's You Tube channel. It's ugly too.Quite ugly, put somewhat cool! For sure exactly whats necessary for quick n dirty testing!

This one is just frames no skin.
This modular bolt-on frame make the boat easily reconfigurable. Want to try with the control surfaces before the propeller bolt on that type of tail section. Want to try post propeller or control surface after the propeller unbolt the pre-prop tail and bolt on a post prop one. Want an X-tail, mount pre-prop tail section rotated 45°.
Externally mounted torpedo launcher.
