The LEGO Generation may find this interesting. I refitted an Arkmodet WTC and wanted to test it before committing it to a Boat. It's a skin on frame design. Apart from the center carriage section, it's a clamp and snap on assembly. It's modular design allows it to accept various WTCs. I've made adapters to fit 70 & 80 mm R&R WTCs. Bow and Stern sections can be swapped out as required.

Quite ugly, put somewhat cool! For sure exactly whats necessary for quick n dirty testing!
A concept i usually had in mind with my SSK, but those attemps usually fail on my side as soon as i begin to make some minor detail "better"....more than once turned into a complete multi-year makeover!
