Looking good, Mark. I did the art-work for those markings -- at the time I was working closely with SKIP to produce the kit. I have no idea why things were fiddled to give the over-size sail hull numbers.
The 3" SD masters are done. Hope to have tooling and the first set of parts next week.

Dave, if you look at the third picture of the Dry Transfers you will notice 4 sets of them that go from 1 to 8 but they are curved. Where do they go?IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

HWSNBN, further up on this page is a picture of your Racey Albacore. I cant tell how to orient the depth numbers on the inside and outside of the x-tail. You wouldn't have a picture or drawing showing that, would you?IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

Simple, Mark. Just lay down your waterline, and the bottom edge of the top number falls on that.
You people!

After the application of the grey was finished, a couple of BooBoos presented themselves. Ill sand and fill them and then we will have another go at it.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

Your beginning to become quite the painter, Mark. Next thing ya know, MACCO will be calling you up one day.
Beautiful work you've done on the albacore, and Oscar. I'd let you paint my Gato, if I had wanted it to look really nice.
I was going to ask you to paint my car, if and when you get some spare time that is.Last edited by Anuci; 07-07-2012, 09:19 AM.Comment
