    "Sub" Ed personal challange!

Don't care if you can, but can I??

We have T-45 days, 6 weekends for us "Full Time society contributing folk", until we make Cohutta.

I have two boats guaranteed ready. I have a choice of projects to choose from, but I'm thinking this...

Would be nice for the evening runs.

Realistically, just get it to 90% and have Dave fix it (duck!!)

                Hmmmm.....

To avoid having to instruct you on the process of a "Decision Tree"....NO.

                1-Effort required to complete: FS1 < S-553
(BELUGA requires design of, and scratch building operating systems, FS1 is a kit you provide)

                2-Use at night: FS1=Lights, S-553 ≠ Lights

So FS1 wins as I think it can be done. Everything else on deck requires to much work (2.4/900 radio swap through in a monkey wrench) to guarantee success by Sep 14th, actually a bit earlier as I'm travelling to Florida first.

Yes, yes. I know the specs ;-)

I am curious about the origin of the specific model in your picture!

                      SWEEEEEET!!!!

1:96 Scale, bought from Bob who got it from some dude (always forget the name) living in the "Land Down Under!".

Same scale as yours?? Would love to see your running hardware. I have to rebuild it as I diudn't take the existing WTC. I'm thinking simple dynamic diver built for speed.

Maybe someday we race, yes? lol

                        I see.

Yes it actually is hardrocks / scott terrey's.
Nope my boat is bigger, around 1metre in length. Ive been occupied more with building than posting of my builds recently, ill update my thread. It started its life as a Skipjack carbon fibre hull.

                        Post:

Hi everyone! Back in 2012 i purchased the carbon-fibre upper and lower hull of a Skipjack SSN at about 1/72 scale that looked nice on E-Bay but would require a lot of scratch-building and so went to storage shortly after arrival. Some time later i stepped over a website descriping in detail both original and the construction

Still on trimming, and no final ballast tank yet.
Ballast lead is bolted down all along the keel with individual stacks.
Using my modified ZB-1 from Australia as well. Sheerline high pressure ballast system, SLA in the bow supplies power.

Anyone know how come the pictures are sooo not sharp after uploading?

Anyways, will stop hacking this thread now!

Great Faith, great doubt, great determination! I like it.

"hardrocks" = Scott Terrey's username here?
