The tabs on the dive plane ends always worried me that they would break. Well one did during test fitting. I lucked out and found it. Superglued and used spot putty. Anyone else have this problem?

Not sure I understand, what tabs? I do not recall any tabs.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub. -
The outside of the dive plane support wing? Yeah, they’re fragile in that scale, and located in a spot prone to bumping...Comment

Reinforce the area with thin brass sheet or g10, bonded on with JB weld.Comment

Thanks, guys. I sanded off the end of the dive plane so what I added would be even with the other side. I then glued a piece of .040 sheet of Evergreen plastic backed by a small strip of .015. Sanded to shape and coated with some spot putty. All done.
