Yes, what he said! It is good to hear you.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

some of the Supporting structure for the cabinets underneath the machines, they all will be mobile so I can place them were I want, small shop requires some out of the box ideas.

Oh no she is not hiding, she refuses to come out of the basement before the garage is dust free, painted and at her desired temperature.

I need to get the freezer out of the garage into the basement first to make room. Can’t do it on the moment because I tried to make an additional index finger with an angle grinder, although I failed the emergency staff agreed it was a good attempt.

I still need to make cabinets for the CNC, 3D resin printer and silent dust extraction.

I love it, Bart! Making the most of what you've got. My shop is no bigger and I appreciate a guy who can get five-pounds of crap into a two-pound bag.

I'm surprised no one said glue the finger back in place and hit it with some primer. Sorry for your injury.

                  LOL

I try to cut it in half longitudinal, used a 40 grid flap disk, took some decent amount of material off during the process. They only applied one stitch to keep everything in place, it was impossible to close it up. Pushrods were ok by some miracle, so I’m a lucky sob. It's just a scratch.

Corona lockdown is over and materials are "sometimes" available. Ordered a bunch of film coated plywood sheets (don't know the exact English name for it) and some 2x2 and 2x4.

                    Finaly making progress again.
The mobile workbench is finished as is the silencer for the dust extraction with the DIY cyclone filter.
yes I know I make things rather sturdy, I have sailed what did you expect.

In the nicest possible way of course. Like all marine engineers, he's a complete perfectionist and he's going to spend AGES on that workshop and I just want to see that Victor III in all its wonderous glory - NOW.

The enclosure for the CNC is ready.......3 sides open with hinges, doors are kept with cleats.....to complete it I added a viewport in acrylic.......ok I added that viewport to annoy Scott.

Because some Aussie on the forum is a PITA......I busted my balls to get the shop done.
Except some minor details its finished.
