Would it be okey to use these to connect the esc to the battery lead extensions instead of soldering or using connectors plugs?

NOTE: Other end of extension wire has Deans connects to plug in battery.

Bob & Jason include these type of connectors with the sub drivers. They come in many variations. You just have to search for the one that fits your application. Scroll thru the 'Related products' in any of the links for other types. For one to one connections the first link should do.

I like terminal blocks. They provide places to land wiring from things like motors, pumps, and batteries. Makes for neater wiring and faster troubleshooting and repair.

I’ve used these and had very good luck. The only thing you have to watch out for is over tightening, or loose connections due to temperature variations or vibration.

As seen in post 5-Those are commonly called wago connectors... They are now approved to be used to replace wire nuts as connectors in residential (and possibly commercial ) electrical work. I would suggest buying the brand name not necessarily a possible knock off from overseas. I found that they gang together side by side with a dab of JB weld very nicely. The Big box home stores all carry them. I started using them on my Regulator model no more problems with over tightening or expansion / contraction loosening, as with the European terminal blocks.
