Attaching and Sealing Control Rod Bellows

Hi all,
What is the best glue/epoxy to attach Bellows to control rods?

I just run my linkage rods through the bellows and let friction hold them in place. The hole in the rubber bellow is so tight that it grips the rod and forms a water tight seal.

Rtv silicone on the inside + small cable zip tie outside.
