    Fuse placement

"Fuse the motor, not the battery! That boat ain't coming back up if hotel services go dark."

Came across this piece of advice from HWSNBN to DavidH regarding motor overheating problems he encountered in one of his cylinders.

I always thought you were supposed to install the fuse inline between the ESC and battery's positive leads. https://forum.rc-sub.com/forum/silly...uses#post33255Click image for larger version Name:	image_16539.jpg Views:	0 Size:	65.9 KB ID:	152163

Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

    Different answer for different situation?
Maybe the advice changed as time moved on or as batteries had more power.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Interesting thought! I'll consider moving the fuse's to the engine in my ZB-1 cylinder.
