Hovering thruster/propeller -- just like on the 1960's EB built, ALUMINAUT.

Protective net to keep objects like ice or floatsom from damaging anechoic tiles. On our boat we had a temporary platform rigged to the bow like a whaling ship harpoon stand and made non nukes use a pole for the same result.I like the net idea better. We lost a lot of guys

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Yes, Google translate works rather well.
Link seems to work for me.
Thanks for id. on Pr. 1839, I was mistaken by the grey paint.
                          Another link about it:

Those soviet research subs are very interesting; I've transformed a U16 to vaguely look like one of these,
you can find it in my gallery.
I've found another picture about Valerka: you can see it among other models in the Malachit Bureau HQs.Click image for larger version

I Spy a British Boat that is a mystery. When I saw it and its missile deck I thought Resolution class..............But where are the bow planes. Look at the sail. It looks like a Trafalgar. The picture is also a recent one but gives no clue as to the boat ID. Looks like they took a Trafalgar and added a missile deck on her. What do you think???

No, It's a Resolution class alright. Bow planes have probably been removed as part of refurbishment. No way it could be a Trafalgar, bow shape all wrong, sail is fatter and more squat than Trafalgar class and set further back from the bow etc.

AFAIK, all four of the class are now laid-up at Rosyth. You can see them all in the attached picture, sans bow planes with HMS Swiftsure, Dreadnought and Churchill in the background. Perhaps this is part of maintenance work to keep the hull intact.
