My condolences. It is very painful to have a friend like that pass away. I pray in all of this you can find some peace.

Thanks Men. Very kind of you to offer support. At the risk of turning this into a doggie forum: Portia and Harley. Portia came to us first and sadly died yesterday, and you know the old story - when you have a Portia, you just have to get a Harley.

They are/were beautiful!
The torpedo launcher and torpedoes, really speaks to the skills of David. It is funny how certain things move me. Owning a set of these is like owning a painting from a famous artist, imho. The same goes for the Sub-Driver. It really is a work of a craftsman (I avoided the term artist for the tongue lashing David would have given me - See I do, sorta, learn!)If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.Comment

Some time ago i stumbled on a website selling these things.....he explicit stated he had the permission from David to make and sell them. will try to find it again didn't keep it.
@ Scott, congrats with the snorkel and antenna result....pictures are hard to find of those things, most of them are from a distance or are very blurry.

I found the website..... On correction though it is not mentioned they have permission from DM but it stated
He builds them from a design that David Merriman published in a 2000 issue of The Subcommittee Report.
David, any objection I place the link on this forum? It is after all the Subdriver forum.
Grtz,
Bart
