      Fast and good work too!
      Redboat, your links are precious.

More little blue squares. Once I've got all of them on I'll spray a high build primer over the model and let it sit for a while. Once dry the marsking is removed, revealing a slightly indented area which indicates where the holes and hatches go on the finished model. This simple wodden jig keeps everything streight and level - I hope.

HardRock, I'm very interested in this high build primer. How does it works?
That's the stern cone of a 1/350 hobby boss Yasen.

There are single pack spray primers which will build up the outer surface of the model slightly. The can on the right is a single pack filler/primer. On the left is a two pack primer. The base primer requires the addition of a catalyst to set it. This produces a much thicker layer of cured paint which is what I'm looking for. Once the paint cures I will remove the masking tape to reveal all of the detail of the vents and hatches. Later on I'll drill out the centres of the vents and glue brass gratings into the recesses left by the masking.

                          Any updates?

This thing is perfect for those out of town trips where you're going there's a pool or small pond. Fits easily in your suit case or carry on.

Not right now Mate. One of my dogs died today so I really don't feel like doing much of anything. I had her for over 13 years and I'm pretty sure that she thought that we were married - at least that's the way she behaved. My actual wife gave up years ago so the dog just moved in. Running around like a puppy yesterday; dead today. Thus is life.
