That's wonderful. Leave it to European hobbyists to think of and apply first. lol. Interesting how the dock walls present a large enough target for the 'collision avoidance sonar' to register & work,
Observed it still could bump against the larger tug though. That's fine. Not to dimmish, it just shows the degree of sensitivity. The larger tug doesn't have the hull draft in the water that the pier does.
Also, the boat is tiny so the device must be tiny in size too, that's good in a submarine always.
The little device in the tug sensitivity would have to allow a larger submarine more time & distance away to react to the helm earlier. Or apply reverse on the prop.
