    Why Is It?

Why is it when you have a submarine on the test bench, it works like a charm? But when you put it in the water, it goes to ****? I mean, God Almighty. It’s just not fair.

Of the approximately 40,000 men who served on U-boats in WWII, it is estimated that around 28,000 to 30,000 lost their lives.

Tell me about it... Happens to me more times than I would like to admit.

I soo know that feeling!Fried receiver?
i had my very first rc sub playing that game with me from the start.all well on the bench, complete failure at the pond. I simply had a bad radio.
i made a model rtr one year, setting up the failsafe of the rp81d receiver, all fine. Powered it up 1 1/2 years later, receiver wont work. It sat on a shelf above my desk all the time...

Or better yet... how about it works on the bench at 4pm Friday when you shut down the shop, but at 8am Sunday when you get back in again, it doesn't.

I don’t trust them. I’ve screwed the pooch too many times with an external battery on surface ships. In years past, I’ve seen several RC airplanes crash because they went dead. I would never trust one on a submarine.

Not everyone has the huge amounts of real estate needed to put another battery in there, either...
