Are you looking for information on the whole deck, or a specific area? Type IX decks were wooden slats with sections of steel, depending on the type of IX you’re building… Not sure what you’re asking?

Are you asking about where to put holes on the model's plastic deck piece to allow air to escape?
Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

Sorry was unclear, yes, I am looking for where to put holes on the model's plastic deck piece to allow air to escape. There are 3 sections of decking with lots of details, don't want to mess it up, lol!

Drill holes wherever you see a circular indent in the deck, but don't need to drill every single one. You'll notice that water surface tension will prevent the sub from diving statically without throttle input, as is normal with flat decked subs. Usually a bit of forward speed and dive plane input should being her underwater.
