    Mini Reversible Vane Pump.

I know Bob's looking for a small reversible pumps that'll fit inside the new 2" cylinder he's working on. Just found this https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006718220656.html Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot_20240826_145104_Lazada.jpg Views:	0 Size:	38.8 KB ID:	182364 Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot_20240826_145130_Lazada.jpg Views:	0 Size:	77.1 KB ID:	182365 Click image for larger version Name:	Screenshot_20240826_145404_Chrome.jpg Views:	0 Size:	52.9 KB ID:	182366
Micro Germany THOMAS DC 5V 6V Rotary Vane Sampling Air Pump Large Flow Mini Gas Sampling Air Pump Reversible Direction

I wonder if this could be used to pump water instead of air. Vane pumps can easily handle low viscosity fluids.
Need to find out if the motor shaft has a seal.

If not, maybe use it as a reversible snort to suck air in and out of the ballast tank.

Nice find. Thanks for looking out for me! Based on what I'm seeing, this isn't much smaller than the pump I have already, and the fact that it's designed for air is probably a no-go without me re-designing the system.

Still, thanks for the link and info!

I believe OTW were looking at a vane pump at one time, but eventually went with a water pump, but you could in theory use a pump like this in place of the water pump, although its utility would depend on the pressure they can reach. Over 2l flow per minute for a pump this size is pretty impressive.
