    Of the approximately 40,000 men who served on U-boats in WWII, it is estimated that around 28,000 to 30,000 lost their lives.

        Dear fellow I-40x friends,

        I have just joined the RC-sub community and was always hoping that after my retirement from the Naval Research Lab (that just happened last month), I would be able to build an I-400/401 at 1/72 scale. To my great surprise, I was elated to find your postings here and the incredible progress from Sinksalot !!! Since almost 3 years have passed since the last posting here, I am wondering if there is a place I can go to get the most recent and corrected files for printing the I-40x, along with any other additional info for making a full RC version of it with WTC inside and everything else. I would appreciate tremendously any response.
