Diving Deep - How to Build and Operate an RC Submarine

Well, it's been a long time, but I'm finally getting close to finishing my RC submarine building manual that I've entitled, "Diving Deep". So far, it's over 70 pages of written content. Once I populate it with photos, it will likely be double that. The plan is to make it available in both digital and hard copy via my site at a nominal cost.

I was hoping for some input and help to get the project finished.

First off, here is the current list of topics covered. What am I missing that would be a good idea to include, from the perspective of someone new coming into the hobby for the first time?:
    1. Frequently Asked Questions
    2. So you want to get your feet wet?
    3. Model submarine terminology
    4. RC submarine dive system options
    5. Tools of the trade
    6. The Basics
    7. Material selection
    8. Electrical
    9. Soldering
    10. Glues and Adhesives
    11. Bushings
    12. Seals
    13. Batteries
    14. Common RC submarine electronics
    15. Getting Started: Picking your boat
    16. RC Submarine Hulls
    17. Hull joints
    18. RC submarine radios
    19. Linkages
    20. Propulsion methods
    21. Driveshafts
    22. Waterproofing servos
    23. Torpedoes
    24. Video Cameras
    25. Periscopes
    26. Failsafe systems
    27. Painting your boat
    28. Trimming your submarine
    29. Operating your new submarine
    30. Submarine Mission Checklist
Let me know what topic(s) I've forgotten and I'll work on including that section prior to committing the manual.

      Second request!:

I would love to see a great image for the cover. I want to launch a photo contest for the best photo. Winner gets full credit in the manual and a $100 credit at the Nautilus Drydocks to put forth to any purchase made there. To enter, just post up your favorite RC submarine photos. Please don't just post up 100 photos that you think are cool. Select the best one(s) and let us all see it.

Once done, I'll go through them, select the ones formatted best for the manual's cover page, then post up a poll for everyone to vote on.

      Who's in!?

        Hi Bob,

‘Procedures’ . This probably to some extent comes under ‘operating your new submarine’ but as you know we work in a very procedure based RC segment.

Consider including: various operating gas mixtures that are commercially available with their advantages, disadvantages, costs, pressures (Propel , butane, freon 135a, CO2 , compressed air etc..)
