Looking beautiful, Rob! I can't wait to see it in the water in the final colors....
Bob
Thank you Bob! The Hunley will be the seventh sub I have built to hit the waters surface and move, but it is the first boat I have done that will DIVE! And thanks to you and David, and others for the help it did happen. As I stated above, I do have some touch up that I want to do and then the final coats of clear coat, some water shots, and then the "Sub Wall"! Thanks again to all!!
Now on to the 1:77 Scale Nautilus!! More fun a head!
The HL Hunley is finally in her permanent home! (when not in the pool)
I am going to make a framed plaque to go just under her stern! I will be putting the Hunley back in the water today, if the wind subsides a little! I will also try again at a better video of her running in the pool!
The boat did very well! It has a very large turning radius, but keeping the throttle down the rudder was quite effective! I am going to try and get the video up that my wife took, so stay tuned!

I think this boat turned out pretty darn good! It was my first real diving boat and with help from you guys on the forum (David M, Bob M & others) it was a real success for me for sure! Thank you all for following and for your input! Moving onto the 1:77 scale Disney Nautilus build!!
