I found all those nice pictures of the U505 but they were all dark. So I ran them thru Picasa and lightened them up a bit.

The U214 above I took and lightened it up and removed the color to help bring out the details. It came out so so.

Once unlocked by the turbine, a linkage is engaged to a spring-loaded firing pin, that pin set in motion once the retaining element of the plunger is freed by a displacement of any one of the four 'whiskers'.
