Man, those are some nice ones. Live Maines go for 30-35 all prepped and cooked on your plate at the restaurant. Sounds like you have it down to a science! When am I coming over to check out your cooking and your Submarines? (hint.....hint)IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

The weather report was for a high high of 1,200 degrees Fahrenheit and possibility of volcano eruptions, looks like they they were wrong, again......sigh.If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.Comment

No surprise there HUH. Notice in the here presented overhead shots of U31 and U33 an interesting detail. On U31 on the starboard side just behind the sail plane but higher is some kinda shelf that they have attached what looks like a light and some kind of mast. On U33 the picture is taken from the starboard side but I see no evidence of where the shelf would be attached or retract.Last edited by greenman407; 12-21-2012, 10:52 AM.IT TAKES GREAT INTELLIGENCE TO FAKE SUCH STUPIDITY!Comment

Friday night I went searching and I found these. Unfortunately some of these pictures provided no info as to who or what or when.

Was the clear hemisphere pressure-proof or just a surface running spray-shield?

David,
As far as i've seen on the pictures it's a observation dome, they used it to see how this boat would act hydrodynamicly.
As you can see there is a dotted line on this drawing, meaning to me that it's part of the pressure hull, and that it would give access even when underwater.
