Yeah, Ray. And post some shots of your original SEAVIEW -- that was ground breaking stuff in the day.

    1. Retractable conning tower
    2. Retractable bow and stern planes.
    3. Three retractable and spinning circular saw blades.
    4. Sponning nose screw, for boring through dirt and rocks.
    5. Laser beam for cutting through rocks.
    6. Internal pump jets for propulsion.
    7. High velocity rocket engines for vertical flight.

Dave also shared his info folder with me, so maybe I should review where I left off.

I have a very thick folder on that beast. Ray is the perfect guy for that oddity, to be sure. We'll have to apply pressure.

I'm with Tom-WWll fleet boats always catch my eye-there are a lot of external details happening there - they look sharp cutting thru the waves...the Seaview is my number Two-again TV imprinting from my childhood -and Bosco...oh forget the Bosco that's not a sub..

I can't list one or even two.....
    1. Gato/Balao class - It was probably because of the war movies growing up, but for whatever reason this sub is just amazing to me.
    2. Sci-Fi subs - Nautilus, Proteus, Seaview, Spindrift - Just the geek in me or watching them growing up, but each one has a story in my life (Spindrift is not a submarine, but I made it one as a kid).
    3. Typhoon
    4. WWII subs - just a balance of old and new technologies
    5. then it gets into a blur and the names added as I build subs. Walrus runs like a dream, Skipjack is one amazing performance, etc.
