Ken! You're a life-saver. I'll get into that this afternoon. Thank you so much! What are you working on these days, you detail-nut, you!

The time format could also be 2017-03-16 21:08:00 and the text file named timeset.txt instead of TAG.txt.

Not working on models. Mostly training and job hunting.

If as Tom said earlier your camera uses the same chip and firmware as the Mobius mini cam, then you can use the app with a GUI that makes life easy to adjust settings.

See post number 6 on this thread-

        https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...g-questions%29

With that you can switch the date stamp off, plus adjust things like recording resolution, frame rate, white balance etc. Easily configured. Read the guides carefully, especially if you choose to update the firmware (not hard) as that can mess up the cam if done incorrectly.

Thanks again, Andy. I'll investigate. Good stuff.

Direct link to software, just unzip and install. Works on windoze based machines.

Manual is integrated into the software, but here is a hardware version-

Ahh, the ones I have are older, only used a text file, guess they now have an app for it.

Good idea on silica gel, but sounds like best practice by Dave avoided fogging. Dive cameras, which this is, can suffer from digging, silica gel is a fix for this, but more importantly not leaving the camera out in the sun or closing it up in a very humid environment also help. I Guess the fact it's so small that it doesn't generate much heat also helps
