Indeed you are, sir. This part was popped out of the rubber glove mold? Nice!

The rubber glove scores again! It has some bubbles and a small tear at the bottom of one of the hull projections but apart from that its quite OK.

Some of the results of todays toil. There is also a silicone mold for the appendages down in the bunker that is cooking away right now. I'm not game to move it until it goea off however.
Herewith the upper hull and a new sail.

                  Scott,

You have built this thing super quick! It looks awesome. I was wondering if you could bring it up to the ranch on Tuesday. You show me uniform and I'll introduce mike. Would love to get those manuals too if you don't mind.

Sure thing. I've gathered all the docs that I have on the various boats that I've built. You'll be amazed at the prosity of information in some of them. Do you want to bring the kids and go for a ride in the chopper?

Today I fixed the rear planes and began the internal control arrangements. Should be done in a week or so.

Added the safety lines. I usually do these in stainless steel and spot weld legs into the line every few inches. I ran out of stainless steel so I attempted to use some old plain steel wire. Not such a great idea. Every time I zapped it there was a shower of sparks and bits of melted steel everywhere. The lowest setting on the spot welder is NOT low enough! So in the end I just glues them downwhich is a pity on two levels. One: they are now flat on the deck and I could easily have just molded them that way, and two: they are flat on the deck where the originals run a few inches above the deck and provide a quite distinctive outline. Oh well - compromise, the mother of mediocrity.

Yep, getting along. Did you spot your 212 propellor with the new vortex attenuator. Looks pretty Russian and its just the right size.
