    Forum database issues

    All,

Looks like we're getting pounded by bots and spiders again. This time they filled up the cache in a matter of days. Clearing that is a manual process, so apologies if it take some time for me to notice and get that done.

I'll clear it weekly and see if that keeps us afload until the larger database is implemented in the next week or so.

Bob, just out of curiosity, have you implemented the Questions & Answer system? Do not use captcha, as it's ineffective.
Of the approximately 40,000 men who served on U-boats in WWII, it is estimated that around 28,000 to 30,000 lost their lives.

Careful, RedBoat. I get the context (from Blade Runner, and funny as a Replicant Trap), but some might take offense if they take the quote literally. Humor is sometimes a funny thing.

My bad. Some of you might not have seen or remember the movie.

It does sounds like I'm being a weirdo.

FYI, That particular question is part of the Voight-Kampff test used in the movie to screen if an individual is human or a replicant.

Yes! Roy's verbal recalls of past events seemed to demand full picture presentation during the on-screen narrative (Orion's belt, C-beams, Troop ships on fire, etc.). But... a movie can only be so long. What a piece of work! The sequel equally good in my opinion.

You do know what happened to the guy that asked that question don’t you?

Funny thing, David, I always thought you were a replicate. You’re too perfect.
