Traffic into Chattanooga was beyond horrid. It took about an hour to get 10 miles. The wife and I checked in at our hotel finally at 1700 in Ringgold. Very nice hotel next to a great restaurant called “Farm to Fork”. See y’all Friday.

Glad you made it! There were 8 of us at dinner. It was good to see some folks from last year and meet David Meriman. It's going to be a good event.

If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Good to meet everyone and I had a blast. Special thanks to Dave Merriman for letting me drive his fleet. Casey.

                              Nice video.

It is interesting to see the for and aft plane movements and periodic pitch movement of the boat - I assume there is an automatic pitch controller fitted

The boat has a pitch control and depth control with both the bow and stern planes tied to them. There is the possibility that the pitch control needs to have it's sensitivity adjusted. This was the first time its performance underwater was observed.
