The British T Class 1:72 scale

I have recently commissioned the WWII British T Class model and as you can see, we are well under way with the plug.

My idea has been to make this model so we can change the superstructure, the conning tower and the deck equipment around to suit a variety of models including The Slippery Ts.

With this in mind, I need your help. Does anyone have any preference on a particular boat they'd like to see? Or better still, could they list the boats that have the same conning towers.

Maybe there are a few brave ones who would like to make a master for a particular conning tower or piece of equipment?

We're a long way off getting a marketable product, but we've started and so now lets see how much interest there is.

Here are just a few examples of T Class boats

Not sure yet Joel. I'm just at the plug stage. Once I see what we have, then I can start to figure out which boats are easier to detail and copy.

The question reworded is: who was commissioned to build this model??

No one has been commissioned to produce the models.

Have to say I was completely ignorant to this sub, I thought T class meant Trafalgar, but then again I though an I-pad was a feminine hygiene product.

Have just seen this sub in a classic 50's film "Morning Departure" - a good story about a post WWII T class that unfortunately ends up on the bottom at the hands of a left over electronic mine.

I think ManOwaR wants to know who did you commission to build the plug, ie who is making the object that is in the first 3 photos in post #1...

Yeah I was wondering too who started the plug.
