I so enjoy seeing your photos!
    Hey, Tom!

The tool walls and core were assembled together before the pour. Once assembled, resin was poured through the big sprue channel cut into the base of the core element. In this shot you can make out the punch used to cut out the sprue and vent channels through which resin is introduced and displaced air escapes.

The resin is poured into the assembled tool with the sail cavity up-side-down. The sail tool is in foreground, the tail-cone tool is just behind it.

After the resin cures, the tool is disassembled and the cast resin sail pulled away from the tool cavities and core to reveal the desired hollow part.

And that's the name of that tune!

Thank you! I see what you did. Must learn more.......
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Oh, by the way David, since you are the magnificent, benevolent and charismatic master of all things, do you have spare mast parts for my DeBoer Seaview lying around? I mean, since you are the god-like visionary, inspirational artisan exemplar deity extraordinaire. Seriously, let me know.

Now, THAT, is the best line of horse-**** I've seen in years. You also want Observation Compartment parts as well, right?

If the KAIRYU pas part of the Thor sale to Bob, then yes, I'll be a very big part of that kits introduction -- I completely re-did all the appendages and worked out a SD for the thing.

Also, that Park Lamp VLF antenna is a work of art! I'm going to need about ten of those to replace all the crap ones that I made.

I'll give your NOVEMBER masts and antennas the same treatment, my friend.
