OK. Enough of this model making stuff. I have a much more serious question. Why is there a naked guy on this boat?

I bust my ass outlining the intricacies of advanced model building; carefully chronicling the activity with camera, scripting a comprehensive narrative and …

... What do you idiots focus on??????

(what was it Churchill once said about the RN?).

Almost there, Boss. I've already started resin casting the big resin pieces that go with your Small World Models 1/96 KILO kit.

The shots below show the end of the tooling work closed out this morning. I spent the later part of the day casting up three sets of parts.

Ran out of rubber, so have more on order -- need that for the spin-casting tool that will be used to make all the white-metal kit parts. Rubber should be here in time for me to complete the little masters. Could have all work wrapped up by the end of next weekend.

Long overdue to get these excellent SWM kits out to the great unwashed.

The beauty of your work makes me weep, Dave. I'm really stoked for this kit to get finished up.

Yeah, Bob, me too. How often Ellie has had to remind me to stop being such a weepy ***** and to buck up and get back to work!

Hopefully I'll get those KILO fittings packages off to you later next week. Then on to the next SWM 1/96 r/c submarine kit on our list.

Beautiful work David. I am not a big fan of this particular sub but the pictures of your work and the overall craftsmanship is awe-inspiring. Well done.

Thank you sir. You are a keen observer of the obvious. I am indeed magnificent …...…. …… not to mention good looking, charming, and God-like in all things.

David,, Looking at the pictures (and yes it is well crafted work), how do you pour the resin into the sail. Do you fill the top and side mold then press the plug into that pushing the extra out? Or is there a pour screw I am missing?
I so enjoy seeing your photos!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.
