Did some sea trials yesterday and everything went just fine! She took an extra 135gr of lead ballast because of the salt water. She is easy to handle but still have to get used to her!!! Here is some pictures and videos!

              Yannis,

She looks great in the pool, mix it up with some sonar-sound and you've got the real thing, very well done my friend.
I see you are blessed with good weather and a nice pool, maybe i should immigrate.

              Greetings Manfred.

Thank you very much Manfred, very kind of you!!! As about the weather... well, that is one of the advantages living in Corfu!!! You should come on holiday sometime and bring one of your subs with you so we can sail together! That will be fun!!!

Now that you say that Yannis, when the type 212 is ready she is small and zippy enough to take her with me by plane, first convince the wife we have to go on a 'working' holiday.

That video was excellently done. The sub looks very convincing underwater. Well done Yannis!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

The wood floor, is that real wood or plastic made to look like wood?
                            Love the details.

So, no base paint, just burnt Siena paint over a white strip? Amazing. It looks so good. I will be using that soon in a Type IX I am building. Thank you.
