When the pilot er captain gets in, is there a step or area of wear or walkway?
    I am loving this sub.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Tell me if this boat pitches up every time you accelerate, please.

It actually wants to dive. The is a lot more drag down low and I think that is the culprit. (Exact opposite of type 23)

As for the walkway, I may add more details after trimming is done.....

Inverse diehedral, canard+Bernulli's prncipal=downforce forward. Takes less downward pitch to dive, more upward to surface. I showed my friend Ted your paint job. and told him to ask NSWC if we can paint this oneClick image for larger version

Had a great run today with final trim and all details added. Turning radius is about 2.5 feet and the planes are nice and responsive......The photos say it all.........

You should add a periscope mast.
Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

Thanks.......Still thinking about one mounted near the canopy.

The canopy is the periscope If you mount one it would have to be on top of the canopy. The 109 had a mirror in a little fairing to look behind almost like a tank hatch periscope, but facing rearwards. If you had one that retracted into the hull, would mean a second crewman. I think that would make a great personal watercraft if it were about 12 ft long. Like an underwater jet ski. You might want to grab a quick pattent on that concept using the model as a prototype. Shark Tank winner for sure.

Make it a snorkel, mounted just forward of the yellow band -- like the candy-pole painted induction mast on the DOLPHIN.

(I've promised myself to finish that DOLPHIN you so kindly provided the tooling for ... one of these days)

I think I will redo my rudders and planes attachment on the TypeA like that. Looks very similar to the Japanese design where you rivetted the fin tips that cover the hinge.
