    So, it took days to get her trimmed, at one point I ripped most of the weights and foam out. She is now trimmed for fresh water, will change a bit in saltwater. I primed her again. Due to sizing the files down so much and the layer orientation she is splintering on the outside, I covered the inside with fiberglass, we'll see.... Click image for larger version

    That is not the correct anchor for Nautilus, or any other USN ship. Yes, I'm a rivet counter, having served for 23 years and, I have the 1:1 scale Nautilus parked just a few miles from where I sit now. I don't know what the actual specs are for the hook, but a USN anchor for a WWII destroyer in the same scale should work. What you purchased is a European anchor. Model Monkey (Steve Larson) makes nice 3D printed stuff. Good luck!
