You managed to get past the reverse rotation but you just have to go and poke him don't you? Can't let a sleeping dog lie? Well, OK then but you will have to bear the consequences of your actions alone. ;o)

I would suggest giving George Sitek a email at GT Sitek props in UK give him your specs (Prop dia, Boss shape, no of blades (7),shaft Thread size you want eg M5, etc) he does superb Brass work at a reasonable price. I got the props (and Aluminum rudders) for my USS California CGN36 made by him from a photo...

He lives for that kinda stuff. I'm a retired airdale.. his stuff bounces off me like cannonballs off the Constitution.

Darrell reported yesterday that the molds are done. Next we will lay up some parts.

Back on this. The fiberglass parts are done. I had to make some slight changes to the missile deck to make it narrower and ride higher but it worked out well. I also got the stern surfaces and fairwater planes installed. Next up I need to design and 3D print some spacer rings for the hull. So far it is lookingpretty decent.

                      Steve,

That hull looks great! That's a BIG Sub! I think you will have another master piece in the making! Thanks for the photos and up dates!

It is a master piece in the making. Looks great and will look just as great in the water!
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

OK Dave, are you happier now. ;o)

From the Prop Shop in the UK. Very nice propeller.

I have the stern control surfaces installed. I will work on the fairwater planes next while I wait for parts to fix my 3D printer.

Wheel looks great. Now, fix the two vertical stabilizers that hang off the outboard ends of the horizontal stabilizers -- the leading edge is a true vertical, not swept.

I find it amazing that I have never met David in person but he sure has an influence on me... No more swept verticals on the horizontal stern planes it is then.
