    Just simply cool.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

Appendages are all sorted and strong. Need some stainless piano wire for the pushrods next. Hatch is printing now and has all the periscope slots, vents and hold downs molded in.

Hatch is completed and we have a hull! Very happy with the results and love the periscope details. I am planning to paint this as a late in service boat. There are all sorts of patches and repairs on these so it will be a fun weathering project.

Hull is sanded out and got a good shot of primer. Using one of Dave’s 2.5 tubes and the fit is great. Will need to have all pushrods exit the bow End caps because of the scale pushrod routing.

WTC cradles are finished. I like to use a couple carbon rods to tie them together before bonding to the hull. They also have the pushrod channels in them so all control surfaces (4) are actuated from the front endcap.

Nothing yet George. Waiting for some internal parts to move forward with this. All linkages and shaft work has been completed.

Post 18 shows the external linkages and post 23 shows how they come through the hull.

Thanks DH for your reply. How did you attach the prop to the prop shaft? Threaded on or set screw through side of prop onto shaft?

Hi DH, not sure if I can ask this in public or best in private about something I have seen on your SDV Mk8 ? I don`t know if you mind if someone asks about a design choice you made? Don`t want to offend.
