Coming along slowly. The bow is now fixed and the holes continue.

The "Z" cut is done and I have started to drill out the flood holes.

I would do so only with Scott's permission. I have not been able to proceed with any other work than the MSD's as there is a surprisingly high number of units being sold at this time.

Money making work first. Fun work a poor second. I have not touched a play-toy in months.

Go for it Mate. I love the way you took that Albacore thing of mine and made it into a beautiful thing; far supassing anything that I could have done with it. Same goes for the November; mine is a rough beginning and truth to tell, its not really up to scratch as a saleable item. (It means that Dave has to literally start again on the entire hull, finish off the appendages and other detail items. Its a big job but what a great boat it will be when he's finished.

So its up to you guys to badger him into getting it done!

Scott is one of those fearless model-builders who is, in every sense of the term, a 'scratch builder'; he has a firm, practical grasp of basic and advanced techniques and has applied them well over the years. It has been my pleasure to collaborate with Scott on several project, which include a 1/96 ALBACORE, and 1/96 Soviet era submarines.

Scott's just done a few rounds with Mr C. But, through the mirical (and I mean that!) of modern science, he's back on his feet ... bloodied and a bit woobly, but still swinging.

Nice new shed Scott. Enough room for the chopper? Could you tell me the inner diameter that is most constant and how long it would be? Maybe a candidate for a ZB-2?

Hi Dave. Its 81mm diameter (just like a good mortar) and around 750mm at that diameter befor the aft and bow tapers.
