How to cover LEDs to prevent light bleed

Experts and all those better at this than me,

How would you go about covering these LEDs so the light goes out the portholes but not the limber holes (and any other gap)? I am thinking black electrical tape, but feel there might be something better. FYI - I ran silicone over the rails and connections already.

Put a thin covering sheet of styrene over each LED? Held in place with silicone. On my Marlin I have LED's in the lower hull facing downward, no bleeding.

For bright LED's out the torpedo openings on my Skipjack, I painted the interior with flat black. The inside painting was extremely helpful at blocking and bleed thru.

Thanks, Gents, no reason to over think it. Styrene it is. I'll paint both sides and glue it down.
