How to cover LEDs to prevent light bleed

Experts and all those better at this than me,

How would you go about covering these LEDs so the light goes out the portholes but not the limber holes (and any other gap)? I am thinking black electrical tape, but feel there might be something better. FYI - I ran silicone over the rails and connections already.
