For Sale: 1:72 Aquacraft/Hobbico Fletcher Class Destroyer

$750 USD, plus shipping. US only. If you're in New England, arrangements could be made for delivery. Ships in original container.

Pictures to be added soon. This is the model the Bancroft unit is based on.

Ship runs great, and will really rip if you get heavy handed on the throttle! Electronics are those recommended in the manual, including 4 3000 mah NiMH batteries, with parrallel connector adapter. Radio receiver is not included. Of course, I've had this ship for a number of years and she does have some wear on her. I did some minor detail enhancement, and there is much potential for more!

PM me if you have interest.

    Thank you,

    Bill

Is that the ALFA killer, Bill? If so, I might buy it just to stomp that model into oblivion!

I see a Skate class boat. I already have a destroyer like yours, but I don’t have a Skate. Can you tell us more in a different thread?

          HWSNBN,
Yes, that is the highly mobile stern appendage removal vessel! ;)

          Das Boot,
That is the Skate mentioned in a previous thread with Sub Ed and Albacore669 (?) I'd link to it, but I am just barely 'puter literate!

                  Das Boot,

I caused David pain by ramming his fine Russian specimen and depriving it of its upper rudder/stabilizer unit. Fairly clean breaks, though and he had it up and running again in short order! I suspect he's just reliving that episode. It's ok, he still talks to me and helps me when he can! :)

Do what I do. Ignore his rants.

Bill and my ratings/job-codes represented by slightly different types of primates (one with scabbed over knuckles, the other still dragging his knucles) -- both found illustrated well to the left on your typical 'evolutionary development chart'.

I rib Dave because I’m jealous of his expertise. But don’t tell him that.
