A good move for many reasons. As I said in my PM, anything else is pure speculation. It is better to go with something verifiable instead of wishful thinking by people with no Ocean Engineering experience.

I think that I will stay with what can be seen with the eye and model the sub that way. It wouldn't be nice to have some one from the FBI come to my home or find me at a run with the model and say can you come with me! At least this way that can't do any thing with me for building the model for what is vissble to everyone.

Don't forget to acquire a set of 688 fairwater planes for the modified sail if you're building the final version of the P-boat. (I was the first ship's superintendent for the 683 when she transferred to Bangor in '94.)Last edited by CC Clarke; 07-25-2021, 03:59 PM.Leave a comment:

Not to ask to many questions is the hull based on a long hull of 302 feet or the short hull of 292 feet?

It will be in line with other kits of the caliber of work of Matt and Dave. I'm guessing mid to high $400's, but I haven't locked in until I get the tooling and analyze labor and material costs to produce. It will also be affected by the peripheral components I'm able to source, be that props, shafts, dry transfers, blueprints, etc.
