1/72 Gato 2.5" Sub Driver; Recommended Servos?

Ok! What is the preferred assignment of servos? From left to right, looking at the shaft coupling sticking out of the end-cap. I originally was gonna go bow planes, bow planes retract, rudder, stern planes. Now, I think; rudder, bow planes, BPR, stern planes. I'm also going with servo arms facing inboard all the way around.Leave a comment:

Cut the servo horns back to retain only the three holes from the center -- you need to do this so the horn does not strike the inside of the cylinder during full-throw. Experiment with what gives at least a 30-degree throw of the control surface with full-through (end-points set at 100%-100%) of the servo. Fine tune at the transmitter -- the end-point adjustment, if you have that feature.Servos are ordered up. Meanwhile, I'm doing stuff to further progress. Throwing paint around, test fitting bits and pieces, researching sail mods, etc. When I get the new servos, what hole in each servo arm gets the pushrod? I will use bow planes, bow planes retract, stern planes, and of course, rudder. I ask as I know these small servos have dainty arms and I don't want to wreck them by experimenting, if the correct answer is known.
Take care, TIA,
Bill
I've found the second hole from the center (dirty-boy... get your mind out of the gutter you nasty old Auxilleryman, you!) to be the most useful.

Thank You! I'll check the fit dimensionally and proceed from there. :)Leave a comment:

Amazon.com: Sg90 9g Micro Servo Motor, Miuzei Mini Small Servos Motor Kit Metal Gear for Arduino RC Car Airplane Robot (10) : Toys & GamesI am engaged in building a 1/72 Gato. I had installed some servos that nicely fit the tray fore & aft, side to side. They're too frickin' tall!! I have used Futaba S3110 and S3114 units in the past (S3110s in my Type 23). Is there a recommended make and model of servo to cover the 4 functions this boat will use?? If you had a good running boat, what did you use?
TIA,
