Heres one I came across of a E Boat firing a torpedo. At least.............I think its an E Boat.

That is a Russian G5 Torpedo Boat.
The torpedoes were shoved out the back of the trough by an arbor with a bell-shaped head that was activated by an explosive charge. The torpedo motor was not activated until a wire trailing from the boat snapped, giving the boat time to turn away from the target.Make it simple, make strong, make it work!Comment

Here are some German E boats with an S designation. Faster than our MTB they used diesel instead of gasoline and they were armored too.

Yes, they are the couple outside Imperial War Museum main entrance. The man in black by the yellow shell is me. As I'm 1,67, you can have an idea of shell's size. Here is another shot of gun's breaches, and a picture of one of the twelve 16" Vickers mounteed around Spain as coastal defence. The're now deactivated, but can be visiteed. AS they all are mounted on cliffs over the sea, the sights are very nice.Comment
