Ive run across some great pictures of fullsize battleships and Aircraft Carriers and their planes. I thought that I would post them here for your entertainment and for modeling purposes.:wink:

Thats for sure Dave. Sorry about the limited text. A lot of these pics come with no discription. I guess they leave it up to you and your imagination. I will fill in where I can. The two pictures of Japanese battleships with the high "Pagoda" Bridge structures are one of the following: Fuso, Haruno, Mutso or Ise.

Here we have Main Batterys firing on anyone of the following American Battleships: Wisconson, New Jersey , Iowa and Missouri. Also included is a closeup of a Russian Cruiser or Frigate.

I know, I know, Where are the ships? Im going in the order of my stash files so that I dont lose my place. Patience. Ive got some really good stuff to post a little at a time. Many of these gun shots you can actually see the projectile!

Top picture is another battleship gun picture of a 16" Projectile handler. Second one is the Mighty Yamato in a colorized shot. Next is a anchor for the Iowa. Next is a Woman at the helm of the George W. Bush aircraft carrier.

All these pictures are of the little known "Graf Zeppelin" the never to see action aircraft carrier of WW2 Germany.
