Revell Type IX, replicate a plastic part

Hi, need to replicate this part #19, I fear it will break. Any efficient way using a mold method?, don't want to break it and have to buy another kit.

Solder a pair of 1-1.5mm brass rod together. Flatten the ends so you could drill a hole for the rudder post.

Some brass rod and strip stock, a simple assembly jig, a bit of solder, and you're done.
