    Revell Type IX, replicate a plastic part

    Solder a pair of 1-1.5mm brass rod together. Flatten the ends so you could drill a hole for the rudder post.
    Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

        Some brass rod and strip stock, a simple assembly jig, a bit of solder, and you're done.
