    Have this Self-Retaining Retractor in my toolbox. It's commonly used for soft tissue retraction during surgical procedures. The knurled thumb screw opens and locks the arms into place. The arms feature outward curving prongs to hold the tissue securely.

    The mechanism may have some RC engineering application like dive plane retraction, torpedo door /shutter, etc.
    Make it simple, make strong, make it work!

    Hmm.LOL! Good idea, yet at least over here, any medical/dental device is vastly expansive to misuse it for hobby-stuff... that would be some rop-notch model!

    Romel, out of curiusity,what EXACTLY is your profession? Onkologist?

      I think he was working at the Gestapo HR office at one point in his career. Not sure, don't hold me to it.
