ID:	153033 What class of submarines are in the foreground? They look like Skipjacks but the rear deck is wide as a those on a missile boat but not as long.

    The sub in the back nearest the ship looks like a Regulus 1 or 2 missile boat.

    Turns out they decommissioned US missile boats awaitng disposal/recycling. The middle section with the missile tubes were removed and the 2 ends rejoined together.

    Makes an interesting model.

      This is a shot from the Inactive Ships Facility in Bremerton. The Halibut is in the background with (3) 598's in the foreground. I used to have access to PSNS and it was always depressing to see boats in the drydocks being "recycled" - especially the ones I served or worked on.
