    X-Tail control yokes

Looking for photos of the control yokes for the 1/96 Type 212 or Albacore. I know downloaded them years ago but can seem to find it on my phone or laptop. Need it for reference for a 1/144 Soryu I got. Thanks.

      Thanks boss.

Also found something else very useful for the Kilo front dive plane.

Grab the brass pushrod with soft-jaw needle-nose pliers, grab the magnetic coupler with your twinkies, and twist it. Hard hard is that?!...

        You people!

Didn't have a soft-jawed needle nose pliers, so I used one of my needle holders.Click image for larger version

It looks just like a hemostat but has some jaws. It's used to hold suturing needles during surgeries. High end ones even have titanium inserts. This is just a cheap Pakistani one.

Close up of the jaw. I used a piece of felt to further protect the control rod surface. Click image for larger version

I still haven't check mine yet but isn't that dumbbell connector for the bow plane servo included in the standard 1/144 Seawolf fittings kit? If not, I'll just fab one from some brass connector block. Click image for larger version

Turns out the hole that runs through the connector block can accomodate 2 of the 1.6mm servo output control shaft side by side. The 2 screw locks them down tight.

Saves me the effort of soldering.

Like so. And also gives you maximum ability to make adjustments on the fly:

Test fit with some 1.6mm G.I. wire.
