The 28mm low kv motors I linked to in this thread seam to be good: https://forum.rc-sub.com/forum/gener...ushless-motors

So far I’ve tested the 350kv motors with a BLHeli 32 esc and 12 volts. The 500kv motors were supposed to arrive on the 6th of this month but were delayed. I just received them yesterday, and I have not had a chance to test them yet.

What diameter motors are you looking for?

Something in that range, 26-28mm. Something that'll drive a 1/144 Trumpeter Soryu or Astute.

Small brushless motors mostly make for small high speed boat, or fast cars. Fast is the key.
will turn any scale sub in to a torpedo. program throttle curve on the TX will help.

Find this thing, ESC and motor has to be small enough to stuff in the wtc. Brush esc just cheaper about $5 esc with motor. Could spear one if you needed.
        Added:
in the old days, GWS motor gearbox was used in the seawolf.

Will pull a 1" pitch prop direct drive no problem. Very torquey for it's size and cheap.
