    Wire gauge

What's the gauge of wire used to connect the battery with the ESC in the subdriver? The one that passed through the conduit in the ballast chamber.

Depends on the load. Pretty much the maximum current drawn by the motor. Hotel surfaces typically yank no more than an Ampere. If it's a big boat pulling up to 40 Ampere's I'll go with 16 or 18-gauge (I prefer flexible 'silicon' cables, but will use cheap-ass zip-cord if cable flexibility is not a prerequisite.

I've used 22-gauge for small SD's that don't draw more than an Ampere or two.
