Threaded End or Using a Die To Thread a 2MM Brass Rod

Hi all, I need to secure or make a M2, isometric thread, coarse (standard), clockwise (standard), parallel brass rod. Only the end of the rod needs be threaded to screw into a prop.
Any help or sources will be appreciated greatly! Could possibly use a Stainless Steel Rod as well?

Andy, that is a cool suggestion......bicycle spoke.
If you can cut, drill, saw, hit things and swear a lot, you're well on the way to building a working model sub.

In had heard of that, but unsure of what threading they have, i.e. isometric, coarse.
Also need a M3, standard thread, coarse (standard), clockwise (standard), parallel rod...... any ideas? I can have one made from a 4MM rod...... but would need a 4MM to 3MM coupler.

According to the Park Tool website, the typical 2mm spoke has a 2.2mmx56TPI thread. This converts to a 2.2mmx0.

The alternative is to cut your own threads, Easy enough to get them parallel if you have a lathe or bench drill.

Exactly Bob! Nick @ harbormodels said cannot help with the M3 unless I can use it on a 4mm diameter shaft, if so, he can have his metal guy shear it down and thread it M3. Whatever length I need.

No, what you saw is an option, and I need 3mm one as well which he can manufacture for me.
